Founded in 2014 by Austrian entrepreneur Armin Amirpanah, WEFORYOU was created with one clear mission: to accelerate the shift away from fossil-based plastics toward sustainable packaging solutions that benefit our environment.
In 2014, driven by this vision, WEFORYOU developed one of the world’s first holistically certified, reusable non-woven shopping bags, biodegradable, compostable, GMO-free, and more than 99% bio-based. What began as a small startup is, more than 10 years later, one of the world’s leading producers of biodegradable and reusable shopping bags.
Over the years, WEFORYOU has grown organically, without third-party investors and from a minimal initial budget, into a strong international group with positive cash flow across its entities year after year. As a result, 100% ownership has remained within the family, including all subsidiaries. This also makes our largest asset, WEFORYOU China, a 100% wholly owned subsidiary under Austrian ownership, ensuring our values and ethics are upheld throughout the entire group.
Beyond our core business, the WEFORYOU Group has expanded into additional business units, including R&D in medical devices and reagents, protective products, mass spectrometry solvents, chemical laboratory operations, and investments in robotics and automation startups, all operating under the WEFORYOU umbrella.
